Enrollment Process
Our Enrollment Process
We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child! These steps will walk you through the enrollment process.
1. Apply Online
Prospective families are welcome to apply online at any time during the school year. Please be sure to complete the application in its entirety. After submitting the application, you will have the option to pay the one-time, non-refundable $100 application fee either at the time of submission or after your onsite tour. Please note that children are only added to our waitlist once the application fee is processed. A confirmation will be sent to ensure your child’s name is on the list.
When space becomes available, we’ll be in touch to schedule your school tour.
2. Schedule an Onsite Tour and Child Visit
Onsite tours are scheduled for weekday afternoons, providing prospective families the opportunity to observe the students at work. Your visit will begin with a tour of the school, followed by a chance to sit and observe the class in session.
3. Notice of Availability
The Notice of Availability (NOA) indicates a spot has become available for the child. Accepting the NOA does not constitute signing a contract. Instead, it simply informs the school of their interest in continuing with the enrollment process.
4. Family Interview
The interview is an informal yet meaningful dialogue between the Directress and the family, aimed at sharing and aligning values and goals within the Montessori pedagogy. The Directress and teaching staff collaboratively make the final decision on whether to proceed with or terminate the enrollment process.
5. Acceptance Letter
Welcome to Live Oak Learning Montessori School! You will receive an official acceptance letter along with enrollment forms to complete and return before the child's start date.
6. Secure Your Child's Slot
All families are responsible for submitting a non-refundable deposit of $500 to secure their child's slot each year. The deposit is comprised of a $300 registration fee and a $200 activity fee.
